I like to daydream about things I should’ve done, and things I wish I said.

And in my memory, I have stood up for the little guy, in every instance at least tried to do

the right thing. But in reality...

I’m not the one for droppin’ eaves, try to keep my nose clean.

I’m not the type to pick up the pieces swept under my rug.

Everybody wants to be a hero, and they think that they would be.

But if you’ve ever tried to do what was right, did you take a side or stay out of the light?

I saw these kids yelling at their mom, she locked her keys in the car.

She looked so sad and helpless, but it was none of my business.

I saw this thing on the news where they staged a kidnapping.

And everyone walked by, and almost no one tried to save the girl’s life,

Or be the good guy.
